Last weekend we saw Round 2 of the Cyprus Championship for 1:8 Nitro Buggy. This event was organized by RCO team, held at NAVOUNITA track in mountainous Paphos.
Last year’s off-road Champion and XRAY driver, Savvakis Milikouris, TQ’d the qualifiers with his new XRAY “Gun” .
During the 40min race, Milikouris was leading for 37 minutes, until his engine flamed out after a hard accident and unfortunately he finished 3rd.
Milikouris – after the second championship race out of 5 – leads the 2012 Cyprus Championship Tour.
XRAY driver Vasilis Christoforou , who recently re-joined the XRAY off-road family, managed to place his XB9 into 2nd place.
